Obituary
Francis “Frank” P. Talarico, 83, of Tarpon Springs FL, passed away on Thursday, February 8th in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was Born in Reading on January 15, 1941, the son of the late Anna (Cuffari) and Nicholas Talarico, and was the husband of 42 years of Sandra S. Talarico of Tarpon Springs.
Frank was a 1959 graduate of Reading High School and Bryland’s Institute of Cosmetology and was a hairdresser owning his own shop for over 50 years.
Frank loved cooking and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed and remembered as a loving husband, father and pop-pop as well as having the biggest heart. Frank would always provide you with his opinion and advice, even if you did not ask for it.
His battle with medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Frank stayed strong until the end.
He is survived by his children Lisa (Talarico) Wagner, wife of Jeffrey, Albrightsville, PA; Lori Talarico, wife of Paul, San Francisco, CA; and Lynn Talarico, wife of Christopher, Reading, PA as well as his step-daughter Lisa Delong, wife of Lisa Peak.
He is also survived by five grandchildren: Brianna Wagner of Mt. Joy, Erika & Richard Masciarelli of Pottstown, Ana and Ines DaCruz of San Francisco and Alex & Kathryn Delong of Jacksonville.
There is also a sister, Angela M. and Thomas Stanislaw of Wyomissing and brother, Samuel J. and Marcia Talarico of Tarpon Springs. Frank was pre-deceased by a sister Concetta Moorman.
Interment will be held at a future date in Pennsylvania.
