Obituary

Garth Houston, 74, of Belleview, FL, passed away on April 27, 2021 at his residence. Garth was born in Hickory, North Carolina. He moved to Florida in 1971. He was employed by Winn Dixie as a meat cutter for 35 years. He also enjoyed buying and selling antique cars.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila; sons, Darin (Sheri), Donnie (Stacy) Houston, Benji Ochinero; daughter, Valerie Ochinero; grandchildren, McKensi, Rowdy, Fisher Houston, Dalton Ochinero.

Garth enjoyed spending time with his wife, Sheila, attending antique car shows, classic cars, traveling to the Carolinas and talking on the phone with his Cronies.

The family will receive friends at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society- Silver Springs Ocala location, Ocala, FL on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00PM. Funeral Services will begin at 3:00PM on May 1, 2021. Arrangements entrusted to Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, 954 E. Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL 34470.     We are deeply saddened to hear of Garth's death. We just found out about his passing today! He was a great neighbor to us when we would come for the winter. Thinking of his kids and grandkids at this difficult time!

    A great soul has departed , but the memories will never fade. We met Garth many years ago at a car show and have remained friends ever since. We have made many memories throughout the years at car shows with Garth and his side kick Ron. He will be sorely missed . May Garth's soul rest in peace .
