Just learned of Gary's passing. My sympathy to all of his family. I have known Gary all of my life of 82 years as he was my mother's first cousin. I always had great respect for Gary's vocal music talent and his dedication to entertaining with it for so many years.

Gary (twig) was a fellow barbershopper and the baritone in my quartet toast to harmony. We carpooled to rehearsal together and every week rehearsed at my home because I was centrally located. We became close friends and i, personally, will surely miss him. What a great guy! The good Lord has just recruited another of his favorite people. God bless you Gary!

I have known Gary and his family for all forty years of my Barbershop life and have sung with him for most of them. I will miss his fine Baritone voice and all of the enjoyment we had and gave to others. Rest in Peace my friend.

My Uncle Gary was one of the kindest men I ever knew. His birthday (May 23rd) was only 1 day away from mine (May 22nd) and I remember celebrating many times with him. He always said grace at our Grice Family Reunion. Our family will miss him very much.

We will miss you daddy! I had many great times at his house while I was in school with Robin, sometimes I know that he thought Robin & I were crazy…. I was like his 5th daughter. Gary & Phyllis were one of the first people to meet my first son after he was born, even before Robin. Our sympathies to the family.
