Obituary

Gary Lynn Maughan, Born October 29, 1943 in McKeesport Pa. passed away quietly with his daughter and son at his side on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Lee Memorial Hospital.

Gary served in as a Staff Sargent in The United States Air Force.  As a skilled electrician, he worked in the automotive manufacturing industries over 40 years with Volkswagen of America, Mitsubishi Motors and Caterpillar.  He also worked for Panada Motor Corporation in Hong Kong and in Beijing China.

Gary enjoyed golf, and science fiction novels and movies along with and a member of the Captain and Mates Bowling league in Cape Coral Florida.  He was a Lyons Club member.

Gary is survived by his daughters, Jenny Lynne Maughan, Chrissie Ann Maughan- MacDonald, stepson, Chauncey A Davis II stepdaughter Marion Row, and sister Karen Maughan – Shanahan and his poodle Millie.

He is preceded in death by his wife Sheryl Jean Maughan, and his parents Chalmers Maughan and Edith Esther Jones-Maughan, along with his brother David Maughan.

    Unfortunately due to the immense grief of the family, a name was left out. Gary is also survived by his beloved daughter Lorraine Lynn Maughan.

    Daddy, , goodbye. I'm sorry things were so complicated after the divorce of you and Mom. I was so young . You weren't one for words but I like to think you cared for me. I wish we had really gotten to know one another again.
