Obituary

George William Flynn, 86, took his last earthly breath on Wednesday April 20, 2022. Born in Glassboro New Jersey to John and Ann(Volk) Flynn. Being the Garden state he worked the fields as a youth. He excelled in sports, specifically football and attended Albright College (University) on a football scholarship. After graduation he worked selling life insurance. He was drafted into the Army and served as an MP. After discharge he continued his sales career with Berkshire Mills and awarded the distinction of PHD, “Pantyhose Doctor”. He was the ultimate salesman. It was during this time he met his future wife Susan (Slayton) in 1980. They married in 1984 in Maitland Florida. He took his love of selling to real estate for the next several years. He and Sue loved to travel and his favorite trip was to Ireland. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Susan, son Michael (Ann), Brother William (Meredith), Brother Harry, and several Volk cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and Brother Jack. A life well lived, he will be missed.
