Obituary
Georgia Verne Oliver Klemm, 92, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away Friday June 4th, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born May 7, 1929 in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Mrs. Klemm retired from Jordan Marsh in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was a member of the Floridian Club, Moose and Elks Club in Port Charlotte.
She loved to play any type of cards especially bridge with her devoted friends. She loved to shop, dance, listen to big band music, and spend time with her family, friends, and her loving dog BG.
She was loved and will be missed by her devoted partner, William (Bill) Marsh and his loving daughter Cindy Heath; her daughter-in-law Darlene Klemm Hegarty; granddaughters Brianne and Kaitlin Klemm; great grandchildren Aiden Cannon and Bentlee Call along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Earl David Klemm; and her two sons David and Trace Klemm.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County at www.awlshelter.org
Although I didn't have the pleasure of meeting “Aunt GV”, based on our discussions throughout the years, I feel like I know her well. I can see from her picture that she had the same beautiful and infectious smile as you both have. I hope your fun memories of GV bring you joy and comfort during this difficult time. Love you.
