Obituary
Gerald William Fennell (Jerry) passed away in the early hours of October 26, 2020 after a long illness. Born May 3, 1937 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Herbert Ellwood Fennell and Margaret Ann Shockey Fennell.
Jerry graduated from Olney High School in Philadelphia before enlisting in the U.S. Navy where he was stationed at Willow Grove Naval Air Station. After discharge, he relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida and continued in the Naval Reserves for several years. During this time, he attended St. Petersburg College.
Jerry spent the majority of his career working at Honeywell Industries as a Field Representative, servicing electronic instruments, in St. Petersburg, FL, Jacksonville, FL, Davenport, Iowa and finally, Denver, Colorado. Upon retirement, he relocated to Ormond Beach, Florida. Jerry was an avid sports car buff and member of various car clubs throughout his life.
Jerry is survived by two brothers, Thomas Ellwood Fennell of Camp Hill, PA and Richard Humburt Fennell of Wellfleet, MA, as well as numerous cousins.
