Obituary

Gerald “Jerry” T. Moore, 82 passed away peacefully with his children by his side at the Emory Bennett Veterans Nursing Home, Daytona Beach, FL on March 19, 2019.

He was born and raised in Detroit MI by his parents Warren and Helen Moore, Sr.

He enlisted in the Army in 1955 and served over two years in Virginia.

In August, 1957 he married Betty Lee Barlow. They remained married for 56 years. Together they produced two wonderful children, Judith and David. He was a wonderful family man and loved by everyone.

Jerry worked in Pharmaceutical Sales for over 30 years and eventually retired from a career in sales and enjoyed the easy life in South Florida.

He is survived by his children Judith Zercher, David Moore and grandchildren Blake Zercher and Angela Zercher.

We will miss him dearly.

    Jerry & I were bunkmates together at Ft Myers in Arlington, VA. It was an awesome friendship since 1955. We visited every year since then. Loved him & his family.
