Obituary

Gerald Owen Page, beloved husband to Margaret Page for 62 years, father to three (Stephen, Mary, Deborah), grandfather to four (Michael, Megan, Jesse, Mary), great-grandfather to seven, friend, philanthropic, and retired letter carrier (39 years) with the United States Post Office in Hazel Park, Michigan and Ocala, Florida, died of heart complications at the age of 84, in Summerfield, Florida. A Michigan native, a graduate of Hazel Park High school, and an award winning employee; he was proud of his family and will be dearly missed by many.

    I will always remember Mr. Page as having a great big smile on his face while giving an awesome performance of “spoons.” First and last time I’ve ever seen that form of art. He did an awesome job of raising three wonderful children. Rest and well deserved peace, Mr. Page!
