Sorry I just heard of Bandhu's passing. He was one of my mentors at the University of Chicago and was "the doctor's doctor" ie the best of the best. Additionally he was an all around great guy, and even though we lost touch of one another, a friend as well. My condolences and best wishes to his family

My husband and my family will always be grateful for Dr. K's expertise and care during my husband's open heart surgery 32 yrs. ago. Stew was only 48 at time and his heart is still doing well. Dr. K's kindness and guidance over the next few years were a blessing to us.
May God's Blessings be with all of you always.

Sorry that we were out of town for Bandhu's Memorial Service. It was always a pleasure to be with him, whether involving patient care or planning for the future for organ donation and transplantation at Translife and Florida Hospital. He was always available, whether "on call" or not. I envied his passion for medicine!
    He will be sadly missed.

Dr. K loved and served his medical community and he will be missed greatly. I knew him for over 20 years and had the honor to work with him in the hospital as well as in his clinic. I observed the love and devotion he had for his family, his tireless pursuit for education and research, and his ongoing dedication to providing excellent care to his patients. He overcame many of his own health challenges to help others overcome theirs. Dr. K taught me so much and I am forever grateful that he encouraged me to pursue my career as a nurse practitioner. The world is truly a better place because Dr. K blessed us all!

I was lucky enough to be a patient of Dr.K's for several years. He was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. He had a smile on his face and seemed glad to see me every visit. We would often talk about healthcare as I work in it also. The last time I saw him a few months ago, he didn't look well and seemed very tired. I was concerned and that time it felt like he was the patient not me. When he said he would see me in one year I wondered if he really would. I gave him an extra tight hug that day. I guess my next appointment will be in heaven. I will truly miss you Dr.K.
