Mario was a very special man. Always a gentleman and a lover of classical music which we shared. I shall miss him.

    Dear Mario,
I can't imagine you are not here watching the news or listening to your favorite opera. It's been a lifetime of sharing family events and personal memories. Growing up together in the Bronx, filling ravioli with our parents, and rolling gnocchi off a fork all while listening to some great arias on the Victrola. You called me Olive Oyl when I tried singing, but I forgive you. Through it all you never changed; always the kind and thoughtful Mario, giving all and never asking for anything in return. How can I forget you never came to visit without a pineapple upside cake because it is my favorite, or cooked salami for my mom, or avocados, mangos, gifts for my boys, treats for the dogs, and never, ever empty handed. You are the best and I'll miss you more than you can know. Give my love to all our people in heaven and a hug and kiss from me!
