I feel blessed to have known H. He was a true gentleman. I learned a lot from H, especially the rules of golf. He will be missed.

We lost a good friend in Howard Hein. So many good memories of him during
our glory days playing Old Corkscrew. We laughed, debated worldly issues, enjoyed the beauty of the course…what a wonderful time we had over the years. On occasion, Howard would say “living at the foot of the Cross, Tommy.” We would trade text msgs about the Hawkeyes during season as I knew he was watching them on TV. Going to miss him. God Bless and Peace of our Lord to you Howard

Howard will remain in our thoughts. He was a wonderful individual and the consummate gentleman. He was appreciated by all the staff here at Old Corkscrew and will be missed by all. I personally will miss his visits in my office and his guidance over the years. God Bless you Howard and may you rest in Peace!
