Dearest Dad you are so missed. There were too few memories to recollect but each one stands out so strongly. I can recalll your sentences!l Just one example is how I looked at the world through rose colored glasses. You said this over 30 years ago but it is as if it were yesterday. Oh Dad I will miss your big burly hugs, your openess to your feelings for Denise and I. Your phone calls, Dad, You were a treasure of a father and I thank God you had Jan in your last years on this earth. I know one day we will see each other again and I will get one of those big burly hugs again. I will love you forever and ever Dad.

"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15 Today I celebrate with the angels as another one of God's children return home. However Uncle J.D. will be greatly missed here on earth. A man with a huge heart for people, he touched so many lives, including mine.
God blessed him with the gift of creativity, as he was always thinking of new and creative possibilities. He also took the time to listen to the dreams of others and encouraged them to go for it.
To Jan and all of the family, he loved you all so much and you all were a blessing to him. May his kindness never be forgotten.

Wonderful memories today of an amazing Uncle. Thank you for the swing you made for me when I was a little girl. Not many adults would care to take the time to do something for a little kid. You always loved being around family and we always loved being around you. You will always be remembered and you will be missed dearly.
To Jan and Uncle J.D.'s family---our deepest sympathy to you at this sad time. May God lift you up and hold you through this time of emptiness and sorrow. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
