James D. Wilt, 64, of Port Orange , FL died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 in Daytona Beach, Fl. Jim was born June 10, 1945 in Wilkinsburg, PA. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during Vietnam. Jim is an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan, enjoyed NASCAR, loved Rock & Roll and time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness and his smiling face. His nickname of “Smiling Jim” will live on in our memory. Jim lived by the motto, “Kindness is mankind’s concern”. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Cummings and Linda Lee Wilt. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Florence; son, James (Veronica) Wilt of Garden Grove, CA; step-son, Michael (Jill) Zaremba of Derry, PA; six cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Madison, Jordyn, Vivian, Aislyn and Ivan; three sisters, Patricia Weitz, Verna McHale and Judy Moon, and brother, David “Terry” Wilt.
