Obituary
James W. Korman, 83, of Venice (formerly of Bellefonte, PA and Hunt Valley, MD), was called home on January 31st. Jim was a 1966 graduate of Penn State, a 1958 graduate of Bellefonte High School and a Veteran of the US Army. He was a Real Estate Appraiser before moving to Florida in 2001. Jim was proud to be an honorary Rotarian.
Jim is survived by his wife, Nanci, with whom he has spent the last 12 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Lori Schipman, of Lake Mary, FL, and Step-Daughter, Jayna Hammon of Defiance, OH, as well as several sisters and a brother. Jim was predeceased by his wife, Barbara, and his son, Brian.
A celebration of life service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Rt. 776 in Venice at a date to be determined. Memorial contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society or Trinity Presbyterian Church.
