Obituary
Petersen, James (71) passed away peacefully in Naples, Florida on October 5, 2018. Always the dignified attorney, Jim is survived by his wife Mary Martin, sons Aaron (Carrie) and Justin (Christy), sister Sue Petersen Moore (Bob Triscoli) and his 7 grandchildren who will carry on his legacy. Jim is preceded in death by parents, Henry and Mary and sister Peggy Petersen.
Born in Milwaukee, Jim graduated from Marquette High and Marquette Law School, retiring after 35 years as a Senior Staff Attorney with Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. He was a former Trustee of the Bayside Village Board of Trustees, the North Shore Library Board and Chair of the Douglas F. McKey Christmas Club in 1999.
Jim was an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewers fan, and a talented golfer. Jim’s spirit will not be far from the golf courses of Twin Eagles and The Bog and in Mary’s heart forever.
His life well lived, the family would like memorials to be sent to: Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, 110 East 42 Street, New York, NY. 10017.
