Obituary

“A great man is one who leaves others at a loss after he is gone.”

James Robert Norton, left this Earth on December 6th in the company of his wife, friends and family in his home. Survived by his wife of 20 years, Patricia Norton, Sister Carol Norton and many nieces, Daughters Tammy Norton, and Crystal Wood, Son Curtis Gibson and two grandchildren.

Jim was an avid car lover and enthusiast. He was loved by many for his talent and skills. Jim would do anything for anyone, without asking for anything in return. There will be a benefit car show and celebration of life held January 20, 2018 at 2pm, at “The Shop”- 802 SW 20th St Unit 208-7.

In lieu of flowers or cards the family asks that well wishers, who wish to participate, attend the celebration of life BBQ.

    Jim was a wonderful person and the first to help a neighbor. We were saddened to hear of his passing. We are grateful to have had the honor to know such an awesome man. He will be missed dearly. Still hard to believe. You'll be in our prayers.
