Obituary

James Roger Clegg, 74, of Port Orange, Florida passed away on October 8, 2016 at the Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Daytona Beach, Florida. He was born on December 16, 1941 in Los Angeles, California to the late John Bynum Clegg and Lillian (Sanders) Clegg Johnston. James attended Cal Poly University before joining the United States Navy where he was stationed at Twentynine Palms, California as a Navy Corpman. He worked as an LPN, and retired as an Administrator for an Assisted Living Facility. James loved camping, sports, and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Miles Clegg. Additional survivors include his son, Scott Clegg (Catherine); his son, James Clegg (Julie); his son, Paul Daniel Fuller (Patricia); his daughter, Melissa Borkowski (Eric); his sister, Jean Gustafson (Don); his brother, Jack Clegg (Phyllis); his 11 grandchildren, Eric, Nadine, JP, Jameson, and Easton Clegg; Daniel and Victoria Fuller, Ryan, Savannah, Courtney, and Kelsie Borkowski; his sister-in law, Dianne Miles Stricklen (Wayne); and many nieces and nephews.
