Janet Ann Schneider
July 8, 1937-May 18, 2023
Janet passed away peacefully on May 18, 2023 at The Villages Hospital. She is survived by her husband Robert K Schneider.
Janet was preceded in death by her twin brother James. She leaves behind her beloved sisters Lorraine and Doris of Long Island NY and a brother Thomas of Naples, FL. Janet also leaves behind 5 nieces and nephews: Allison, Kathy, Glenn and James all of Long Island NY and Nancy of Richmond VA.
Janet and her husband moved to The Villages in 2001. She was a beloved member of the bowling community. Her love of the sport started later in life back in NY and always regretted not starting sooner Her love of the sport was undeniable so much so that she became secretary to many of the leagues at Spanish Springs Her bookkeeping background served her well in maintaining bowlers and league information.
Janet was blessed to have friends who would go above and beyond to help her in her time of need thru the years. She will be greatly missed by her family and all of her friends here in The Villages
A special thank you to the ICU staff at The Villages Regional Hospital for always showing Janet kindness and compassion while caring for her.
