Obituary
Jeffrey Edward Moses, 61, of Ocala passed away October 30, 2016. He was born in Phoenix Arizona on March 17, 1955 to Edward Lee Moses and Ella Kay Reese. His family moved to Florida at a very young age but he has been here and enjoyed it ever since arrival. Growing up as a young boy he helped his father run the family business in town and would eventually carry on the same tradition with his own family. As a young man he was an Eagle Scout and an All Star Baseball Player. He graduated proudly from Forest High School Class of 1973. Jeffrey loved the outdoors and especially spending time with Family and Friends. He was a former member of Cattleman’s Association and proud to be a member of the CHURCH @ THE SPRINGS. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Alta Moses. Jeffrey is survived by many loving family members that include his wife of so many years Kay Dunaway Moses; children, Amanda (Chad) Moses-Basney, Dusty Dunaway, Catherine (Sharon) Dunaway-Alt, Ricky Dunaway, Jennifer Dunaway (Ken); five grandchildren; Sara, Will, Courtney, Kaylen, and Jordan; sister, Judy (David) Vaughn; brother, David (Becky) Moses; also by his aunt, uncle and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 2 PM at Church @ The Springs. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made in Jeffrey’s name to Florida Conservation Fund, EARS Sanctuary or Millcreekfarm.org.
