Obituary

Jerry James Batchelder (79) of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away on October 28th, 2021.  Jerry was born on May 20th, 1942, in Boston, Mass. After High School Jerry joined the Navy and spent over four years proudly service his country. Jerry worked for Ford Motor Company for over 35 years in Finance Management.

He was predeceased by his adoptive mother Eileen Batchelder, Aunt Barbara Shields, Aunt Juanita Blaney, Uncle Lockhart Blaney, Uncle Harold Metcalf.  Survived by:  adoptive sister Debbie Batchelder, niece May Low, cousins Randy and Gwen Hayes, Blair Metcalf, Larry Sheldon, Scott and Leslie Blaney.  Also, close friends Robert and Mary Logan, Don Honeycutt, Gary and Ellen Ramsey and Marjorie Ann Pierce.

The spreading of Jerry’s ashes will be held for family and friends at a date yet to be determined.

Donations in Jerry’s memory may be made to Samaritan’s Purse.
