Obituary
James“Jim” Paul Loeffler age 79 of Bradenton, Florida passed away peacefully May 18, 2023 at Sarasota Hospice House after a long illness.
Jim was born May 25, 1943 in Camden Arkansas to Fred and Hazel (Ball) Loeffler. He graduated high school in Gentry, Arkansas then pursued the Army National Guard.
He married Elisabeth Dopps on January 14, 1971 in Tahlequah, Okla and became instant Dad to 3 beautiful children whom he loved as his own.
He enjoyed driving a truck around the country before settling down with family. He loved to work with his hands and made a living building cabinets and furniture for boats and restaurants. He also owned a craft business in Alba, Mo called Heart 2 home. He enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with his buddies.
He is survived by his wife Elisabeth, son Rodney (Ginger) Dopps of Joplin, Missouri, son Timothy Dopps of St. Petersburg, daughter Kerry (Mike) Alumbaugh of Bradenton, Florida, daughter Rebecca Presley of St. Petersburg, Florida and sister Virginia (Jim) Bryant of Little Rock, Arkansas. He was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life service with be June 10,2023 at 4:00 at Christpoint Church Galena, Kansas. Josh Pennington will officiate.
