In loving memory of Jo Ann Hardy, who passed away on July 1, 2023. She was the devoted wife of Robert (Bob) Hardy, loving mother to Mark Hardy and Melissa (Hardy) Rowles, Grammy to Connor Hardy, Caden Hardy and Kimberly Rowles, and Great Grammy to Aaden Muela.

Jo An was born to Harold and Wilma Fangmeier in Peoria, IL on September 20, 1946. She graduated from Richwoods High School in 1964 and worked as a secretary until meeting Bob. Jo Ann has not only been married to the love of her life, Bob, for 57 years, but she worked alongside him in the family swimming pool business for more than 25 years. She then decided to try something new by working in school administration at Trinity High School in Euless, Texas, before retiring to hit the open road with Bob in their RV. They finally settled in her favorite location, the sunny beaches of Florida.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Hardy (Port Charlotte, FL); children, Melissa (Hardy) Rowles and husband Kevin (North Richland Hills, TX); Mark Hardy and wife Kim (Justin, TX); grandchildren, Connor Hardy, Caden Hardy, and Kimberly Rowles and husband, Cesar Muela; great grandchild Aaden Muela; Sister Marsha Heisel and husband Kent (Dunlap, IL); many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and her fur babies, Lucy and Nellie.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her Parents Harold and Wilma Fangmeier; Sister Karen Sprenkle and husband Paul; Sister Janet Ross and husband William; and Father and Mother In-law Richard and Helen Hardy.

The Celebration of Life will be held at First Methodist Church of Colleyville, 1000 Church Street, Colleyville, TX 76034 on August 5, 2023 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Tzu Zoo Rescue (Shih Tzu Rescue) or the American Cancer Society. Jo Ann will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget her.
