Joan E. “Joanie” Miller, 57, of Edgewater died Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Bert Fish Medical Center. She has been a resident of this area since August of 1984 moving here from Louisville, KY. Joanie was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time in her garden and with her four Chihuahua’s.
Joanie is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Thomas; daughter, Melanie Miller and her finance’, Scott Mazzaro all of Edgewater, her precious grandson, Therin Mazzaro and her beloved four Chihuahua’s, Hobie, Jack, Chi Chi and Petey.

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know that they are happy. My thoughts and prayers are with you Uncle Tom and Melanie.
