Obituary
John Joseph Lucia, Jr. (88) passed away January 30, 2022. John was born July 20, 1933. He married his wife Judy in 1969.John loved to work on cars and motorcycles, both professionally and for fun. He was a very successful business owner, mechanic and salesperson. His hobbies were woodworking, welding, gardening, he was an amazing chess player and could speak 3 languages. In his later years, he was known around town as “The Tire Man” when he created another business selling used tires. He was very well liked, charismatic, hardworking and full of energy. He was a wonderful father to his 2 children, Shawna and Jason (whom he affectionately nicknamed “JJ”). John was loving, kind, playful, and very involved. He modeled and taught his children love and compassion. He had an adventurous life which he shared through colorful stories of his youthful years. He will be missed deeply and will be forever cherished.
