JohnR. Bilyeu, age 82 of Leesburg died April 8, 2015. Final services will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushmell, fl. with full military honors.JOHN RAYMOND BILYEU, 82, WENT TO BE WITH THE LORD ON WED., APRIL 8TH, 2015. HE WAS BORN IN CURRAN TOWNSHIP, CURRAN, ILLINOIS, THE SON OF ROSIE AND JAY BILYEU. JOHN WAS THE NEXT TO YOUNGEST CHILD OF SIX BOYS AND ONE GIRL. JOHN WAS PRE-DECEASED BY HIS PARENTS, A SON, MARK BILYEU, AND FOUR BROTHERS, HERMAN, CARL, GENE AND RONNIE. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING WIFE OF 64 YEARS, KARA, A DAUGHTER, ERYS MARTIN, HUSBAND, BILL; A SON, ERIC BILYEU, WIFE, PAM; A SISTER, CARRIE HARRIS; A BROTHER, DEAN, WIFE, PATTY; SIX GRANDCHILDREN; TRAVIS MARTIN, WIFE JENNI; MENDY HANNAH; ANGELA MARTIN; JEREMY BILYEU, WIFE, SARAH, IAN AND LARA BILYEU; AND 8 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN; LINDSEY, GABRIELLE, AND LILLIAN MARTIN; KYLE HANNAH, DYLAN AND DEVYN BEACH; NADIA AND JACEN BILYEU; SISTER-IN-LAW, KATHERINE TURNER, TWO BROTHER-IN-LAWS, ROBERT BRETZ AND EDWIN SHORT AND MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS. JOHN WAS A VETERAN, SERVING FOUR YEARS IN THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE. HE WAS CREMATED AND HIS ASHES WILL BE INTERRED AT THE BUSHNELL NATIONAL CEMETERY IN BUSHNELL, FLORIDA. MEMORIALS MAY BE MADE TO CLERMONT 1ST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, TRADITIONAL CHOIR FUND, 950 7TH STREET, CLERMONT, FL. 34711; AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY, OR CORNERSTONE HOSPICE. JOHN WAS LOVED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM AND WILL BE SORELY MISSED.

    John was the first friend my husband and I made at First United Methodist Church in Clermont. John was so welcoming and friending. And was very proud of his wife, Kara, who sang in the choir. You will be missed. Our deepest sympathy for Kara and the family. May God bring you comfort.
