Joseph Perrothers, Jr. 80, passed away July 19, 2017 in Ocala, FL. He was born to Joseph and Helen Perrothers on February 28, 1937 in New York City. Survivors include: Daughters: Lori Kelly of NY. and Wendy Lee of WA, Sister: Susan Perrothers of MA. He was preceded in death by his Daughter: Debbie Price

    I worked for Joe for 4 memorable years in the late 70s in Harlem. We were like rice and beans ( yes that close ) without a doubt our story would be a blockbuster movie worthy of an academy award. He loved his family and his German Shepherd Smokey.. I have nothing but fond memories of the time we spent together. I'm very thankful that we conversed on the phone shorty before his death. God bless his sole.. may he rest in peace!

    I worked for Joe for 5 years up in Harlem back in the seventies and we were like rice and beans. He was like my 2nd dad. I called Joe shortly before his death and I am so happy that we had a long conversation. It was positive. my condolences to his remaining family. God-bless his sole..

    My condolences to the family. Did Joseph's wife, Marion, work at Chase Manhattan Bank back in the 60's and 70's? She was a mentor to me - a fine lady.

    My sympathy and prayers for his surviving family. Joe was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marion and brother, Ralph.
