Joyce I. Lynch, 92 passed away on May 1st, 2022, while surrrounded by her family at Lee
Memorial Hosptal in Ft. Myers, FL .
Joyce was born in Pawtucket, RI on November 29th, 1929. She attended Memorial Hospital
School of Nursing in Pawtucket, RI “Class of 1951”. Joyce was employed at Pawtucket
Memorial Hospital currently known as Memorial Hospital of RI in Pawtucket, RI as a Registered
Nurse. She received a Diplomat degree as a Nurse Practitioner from Massachusetts General
Hospital, “she was one of the first pioneer’s in the field. Joyce is survived by her daughter’s
Mary Bosma and Patricia Blade both from No. Ft. Myers, FL., preceded in death by her
husband, William J. Lynch and eldest daughter, Deborah Massey. She was a grandmother to;
Erin Jarvis, Colleen Quinonez, Adam Bosma, Samantha (Bosma)Trujillo, and Megan Senecal.
Great-grandmother to; Joseph Costa, Sophea Jarvis, Anthony Quinonez, David Benoit, III, Jack
Benoit, and Skyla Benoit.
Joyce was an avid bridge and quilter in the community of Imperial Wilderness in Naples, FL.
She loved to play bridge, bingo, and take trips to the casinos in Hollywood and Immokalee, FL.
She was a “world traveler” taking trips and cruises through her Imperial Wilderness community.
