Obituary

Juan Quiñones Santiago, 90, of Deltona, FL passed away peacefully on January 27th, 2019 under the care of Hospice in Deltona, FL.  A native of Ponce, Puerto Rico, he moved to Deltona in December of 2017 with his loving wife, Emerida Quiñones, of 71 years of marriage who passed on June 26, 2018.  Juan loved life and his family; he was a most devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather.  As our patriarch he taught us the meaning of life, love and the importance of family. He was very loved and respected, by his family and all who knew him.

When we are young, we believe our parents will always be by our side; however, at some point in our lives we realize that as humans we are all here on borrowed time and our parents at one point will leave us to carry on the family legacy.

Juan leaves behind to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy, 3 daughters, Ivette Quiñones of Deltona, FL, Irma Quiñones de Irizarry of Ponce, PR, Ivonne Quiñones of Bronx, NY, 3 sons, Juan Quiñones, Jr. of Deltona, FL, Jose Quiñones of White Plains, NY,  Jorge Quiñones of Bradenton, FL, 1 sister, Ana Medina of Deltona, FL. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates your kind thoughts and prayers.
