Obituary
Julia Posey, 93, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, in Eustis, Florida. Julia was born on April 1, 1925, in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Walter and Mary Ann (Nalepa) Koroway. She spent the first 90 years of her life in the Youngstown area and moved to Eustis in 2016 to be closer to her family.
Julia retired as Secretary to the Postmaster in 1986 after a 26 year career with the Youngstown Postal Service. She was a member of Mill Creek Chapter, American Business Women’s Association. She enjoyed her retirement years traveling to Florida with her family, crafting, daily walks at her second home (Southern Park Mall) where she also shopped for bargains for her granddaughters and sought the winning lottery ticket. She especially enjoyed baking and decorating cakes for all occasions and family events.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Vera Tringhese, Anna Danco, and Theresa White.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann (Gerald) Lisko of Leesburg, Florida; granddaughters Monica (David) Calko, Robin (John) Gligor, and Katherine (Bradley) Very; and great grandsons Devon Kimble, John Gligor IV, Nathan Gligor, and Callen Calko.
