Obituary

Juta Iona Herbert-LaMotta age 84, of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands passed away peacefully in to the arms of our heavenly father on Monday July 11, 2016, in the city of Orlando, FL.

Juta Herbert-LaMotta worked for Eastern Airlines for Twenty-nine years. She was preceded in death by her previous husband; John LaMotta of Twenty years; Her Mother Maria Herbert; Step-Father, Cyril Petersen; Her Son Rubeo Finch; Her sister Shirley Petersen-Estrill; Her brothers Wilfred Phipps and Luben Phipps and Her step- mother, Augusta Petersen.

Juta LaMotta was survived by her daughters Deborah LaMotta, Denise LaMotta; Her sons, John LaMotta, Glenn LaMotta, Keith ”Chico” LaMotta, Rubeo Finch (Deceased) Brothers; Gilbert “Teddy” Phipps, Roy “Moroe” Petersen, Wilfred Phipps (Deceased) Luben Phipps (Deceased); Sisters, Leona Phipps-Potter, Shirley Petersen-Estrill (Deceased) , Karen “Shine” Petersen; Step Brothers; Evans Petersen (Deceased), Dalton Phillips, Harry Phillips, Gilbert Comissiona; Step-Sisters; Delores Phillips; Sisters-in-Law; Verna Petersen, Yvonne Prince-Phipps; Brothers-in-Law; Carl potter, Kenneth Estrill; Grandchildren; Jemanie Dawson, Kallundah Dawson, Jaliah Lloyd, Kaliah Lloyd, Elisa LaMotta, Gelisa LaMotta, Keith LaMotta Jr., Kyle LaMotta, My’ell LaMotta, My’enn LaMotta, Micheal Brathwaite, Molika Finch-Livisay, Marsha Finch, Jamiella Lamotta, Janika Lamotta, Jakeela Lamotta; 11 Great grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be Friday, July 22, 2016 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 2036 Sprint Boulevard, Suite 10 Apopka, Florida 32703. A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Epispocal Church of the Holy Family, 1010 N. Hiawassee Road, Orlando, Florid 32810.

Arrangments are under the care of the Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Orlando,Fl.

Dear beloved family of Juta LaMotta, please accept my condolences for your loss. We are living in a time where we experience so much pain, suffering, and sorrow. Soon we can look forward to a time when these things will not exist. Jesus' words at John 6:40 "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day." May the hope in this scripture bring you comfort and strength to cope during this time of mourning.
