Obituary
Karen was born May 10, 1978, in Kingston, Jamaica and migrated to the United States in 1983. Her formal education was in New York and her college education was at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. Karen was always a hard-working young lady. She had the skill of doing hair which she did for herself, as well as her family members and close friends.
In 2002 her daughter Lynae was born. Karen was then focused on being the best mother she could be. In 2012, Karen traded in the cold weather of New York and moved to sunny Florida (which is now getting “cold”) where she resided. On December 23, 2021, after a short illness, Karen transitioned this earthly abode for her heavenly home.
Karen was surrounded by family as she made her transition and leaves behind her parents Gretel and Sylvan, Daughter, Lynae S. Young, sister, Denise Daley, niece Alexus Daley and nephew Charles Kelly, Jr. (CJ). Also she leaves her uncles Hancel, Caswell, and Dorrel (Tony) Cummings and Aunt Rose, along with a host of cousins and other relatives and friends, including her ride and die Cousin Lisa.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
