Obituary

Katherine Marie Crouse, 69, of Punta Gorda, Fl, passed away on April 4, 2024, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte surrounded by her family. Kathi was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on May 27, 1954, to the late Leopold Yoor and Helen Burgy Yoor.
Kathi is survived by her husband of 36 years, Boyd Herbert Crouse; sons, Joseph Crouse of Aberdeen, Maryland, Eric Crouse and husband Jonathan Polycranos of Baltimore, Maryland, Alex Crouse and wife Chelsea of Houston, Texas; grandson, Finnegan Crouse of Houston, Texas; bonus grandchildren, Danny and Leah Flores of Salt Lake City, Utah; sisters, Pat Morton and husband Bill of Florida, Norma Cross of Maryland, Helena Kriener and husband Tom of Pennsylvania; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Kathi was a loving wife, mother, g-mom, sister, and friend. Kathi and Boyd moved from Baltimore down to Punta Gorda in September of 2020 to enjoy their retirement. Kathi was an avid beach goer; she enjoyed day trips to the beach and swimming in her pool. During the Christmas season, Kathi and Boyd enjoyed being Mr. and Mrs. Claus in the Baltimore and Punta Gorda areas for many of their years together. Kathi was the life of the party, always having a good time with everyone around her. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. They were the apple of her eye and always turned a bad day into a good day. She will be missed by all, but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
