Obituary

Kevin Taylor, age 44, died on March 29, 2021 in Sanford, FL.
He is survived by:
Parents – Tom and Pat Taylor, Lake Mary, FL (formerly Terre Haute, IN)
“Wifey”, Life Partner and Best Friend – Teena Shearin, Sanford, FL (Port Charlotte)
Brother – Marc Taylor, Maitland, FL (Tampa, Bradenton, Terre Haute, IN)
Son – Trent Nevins, Brazil, IN
Aunt – Donna Jean Rockwood, Prairie Creek, IN
Nephew – Gabriel Taylor, Crown Point, IN
Uncle – Craig (Gail) Rockwood, Lewis, IN
Cousins – Ben and Jed Rockwood, Lewis, IN
Born in Terre Haute, IN, he moved to Florida in 2000. He worked in a variety of positions in restaurants, construction, etc.
After working in the family business, Pinch a Penny Pools, from 2008 – 2018,  he was proud to become a small business owner of KTS Pool service – maintenance and repairs, contractor for Aqua Works Pools.
Incredible loving Son, “Hubby”, Bro, Father, Nephew, Uncle and Friend, he loved Florida and the Great Outdoors.
The following is part of a beautiful tribute written by his Brother – Marc:

I am KT,  a man of passion and compassion.  I am generous to a fault, and will literally give you the shirt off my back.  I am the fiercest friend you will ever have.   In my world, family comes first and none is more important than mine.   I am the guy who walks the beach throwing the starfish and even the jellyfish back in the water so they can live.

I am Kevin,  a man of the outdoors.  I find joy in all things Florida and I am consumed with our beaches,  4 wheeling, bonfires, camping, boating the St. Johns, deep sea fishing, kayaking, wildlife, and even that day in the mudhole.   I am the guy who stops to move the turtle to the side of the road.

I am K-Rock, a man of action.  My heart is worn on my sleeve.  I am a simple man, with a hands on approach to life and work,.. I take pride in my work and have succeeded as a small business owner.  No job is too big or overwhelming.  I work hard and play hard.  I am the guy you can count on to get the job done, whatever it takes.

I am Kevin Michael Taylor,  Son, “Hubby”, Brother, Father, Nephew, Uncle, and Friend
A private service will be held at sea later this month to celebrate his life.

Life will never be the same without you, KT! You are so dearly loved and so greatly missed. There will never be a day that we won't think of you and keep you close to our hearts. You will be with us in spirit anytime we go to the beach or swim in the pool that you renovated for your mom and dad. You will be with us in the parks and campgrounds, and you will be with us when we sit together around the dining room table. I wish I could give you another hug! I wish I could have another day with you, another week, another month, another year. It would never be enough. I wanted a lifetime with you. You were always so special to me. We will always cherish our memories of you and keep them alive by surrounding ourselves with treasured pictures and by sharing stories of the good times together. I am clinging to God's promise of everlasting life where God will wipe away all our tears, and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, or any more pain.
