I will continue to have fond memories of Kevin
My Uncle bub You were, and still are the funniest person I know. From endless nicknames to the countless Disney trips you took me on. Because of you I experienced so many amazing things. My Disney fascination and obsession with phantom of the opera all came from you and these are things that i will hold on to, forever. Monday morning I turned on the TV and the first thing I saw, was the Mets beat the Braves. At that moment I knew it was YOU shining through that TV. You will always be in my heart. All my love - Dr. Lorenzo Elbow
He lit up a room when he walked in. And, created so many good memories.
Family trip to Disney
I didn’t have a big brother, but my cousin Kevin was like my brother. Protective towards me. Always there for me if I needed him. He always made me laugh and he always made me feel loved. I will miss him and I’ll always remember and love him. Thank you Kevin. Thank you for hanging out with us in the pool area. Thanks for taking us to your baseball games and teaching us how to ref a game. Thank you for sharing your love of the New York Mets. They’re playing the Yankees right now and I’m sure you would be yelling at the TV right about how they are playing. Thank you for your words of wisdom and teaching us all about the Russell family tree. All my love, Cousin Val
We ran into each other around 1990 in Daytona Beach, FL. Kevin hosted my friends and I around town, including watches rocket launch. He was funny and sweet.
We also laughed looking back at his big brother tendencies around Charlotte and her friends, including his disapproval of us taking his car for a joy ride around their backyard when he was selling it!
He was a good guy.
Rest In Peace, Kevin.
I am so thankful I was able to talk to you on Facebook at times. Every time I spoke to you, you had me cracking up. I know you suffered enough and I find peace knowing your able to play ball with your dad again.
Rest In Peace Kevin.
