Obituary

Larry “Lum” Edward Thompson, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. He was 81 years old. Larry was born on July 2, 1939 in New Castle, Indiana, to the late Jesse Thompson and Hildred (Larimore) Thompson.

 

During his working life, Larry was employed as a sales representative for a service supply chain. Among many other things, Larry enjoyed bowling and fishing. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and volunteered at the Lee County YMCA.

 

Larry is survived by this son, Michael Thompson, daughter, Jessica Saylor (Ben), and four wonderful grandchildren, as well as many other family and friends who will miss him greatly.

 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home & Cremation Society.
