Obituary

LaVerne Griggs Scroggie, 80, on Jan. 1st, 2023, went to be with our Lord and Savior. LaVerne was born and raised in Marion County and spent most of her time living there. She was a caring and compassionate person that touched the lives of many. She loved the lord and was deeply devoted to her faith. She also had a passion for gardening and would spend many hours tending to her flowers. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and generosity that will not be forgotten. She is survived by her daughter Tasha Humphries (Greg) her Sons Michael Scroggie and Bryan Scroggie (Megan) Grandchildren Matt & Andrew Humphries, Gwyndolyn & Neville Scroggie.

A celebration of life will be held at The Garden Worship Center (12740 S.E County HWY 484, Belleview, FL) at 11:00am Saturday, Jan. 14th, 2023.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to The Garden Worship Center or Samaritans Purse.
