Obituary

Lawrence S. Fronczak, better known as “Larry” and “Pappy” to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, went home to the Lord on Monday, March 7, 2022. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was a miracle man, fighting heart disease since 1988 and a heart transplant 22 and a half years ago.

Larry was born in Reading, PA on November 5, 1940, to his mother Esther and father Bill.

Larry was a graduate of Boyertown High School in Boyertown, PA. He also proudly served in the United States Marine Corp, was a Boy Scout leader, a Volunteer Fire Fighter, a Sunday School Superintendent, and a Baseball Coach. He was employed as a flexographic printer at Boyertown Packaging, and as a Security Guard at Ames Distribution Center. He was also a member of Seabreeze United Church of Christ in Daytona Beach, FL.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 61 marvelous years, Rosanna, three children, Tom and his wife Holly of Florence, SC, Sue Willman and her husband Mark of Kittanning, PA, and Don and his wife Marcey of Boyertown, PA. He is also survived by his brother, Richard and his wife Nancy of Womelsdorf, PA. Larry is dearly loved by his family and friends, and he will always be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will occur at a later date.

I am just sitting here thinking back of all the wonderful people I have met through life. Thinking back to BPSC, Larry came to mind as he was the first person I worked with on my first day on my first job. He helped me incredibly as I was a little lost sheep. Flexographic printing became my career, which I am very proud of, but would things have been different if I was not given the opportunity to work with a person who cared about my future like Larry did from the very beginning. A great friend for many years, I am so sorry to hear about your loss.

    Dear Roseanna,
Not sure what made me google Larry, but I was sad to see his passing. I'll always fondly remember our times together at Aunt Flo's bungalow. You all treated me so well, like a real "little cousin".

My heart breaks for you, Rosanna and family as Larry was an amazing, one of a kind man. But he is now without pain. I can see him with God by the pool, grilling, and laughing with all the went before. Much love to each of you! May God wrap his comforting arms around you all during these difficult days and all the days to come.

Larry and Rosanna are two of the kindest people you’d ever meet. I had the pleasure of meeting Rosanna and I knew she was going to a great friend, then she introduced my husband Michael and myself Sherry to Larry and we haven’t parted since that day. We played cards and enjoyed each other’s company as good friends do. Well as the years went by we became family instead of friends and we’ll always remain Family. Larry you fought a lot of tough battles and you won time after time. Now you can rest and guide Rosanna and the rest of your family from up above. Michael and I will never forget you and We’ll see you when it’s our turn to join you, so keep decks of cards handy my friend!!! All Our Love Always to you Larry and Rosanna!!
