Obituary

Lawrence Walker, age 67 of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away peacefully at home, November 17th, after a 9 month battle with cancer.

Lawrence was born in Libertyville, IL  February 20, 1953.  He was a machinist by trade.  He enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, and boating.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years Karen Walker, his daughter Stephanie Walker of Libertyville, IL, his sons Brian (Krystal) of McHenry, IL, Steve (Jori) of Round Lake, IL,and  Lawrence (Malak) of Tucson, AZ.  His grandchildren, Sophia of Libertyville,  Abby, Luke and Leia of McHenry, and Luke and Josiah of Tucson. His sister Donna Jean (John) Brill of Plano, TX.

 

He is preceded in death by his daughter Katie, his parents Hubert Walker and Eileen Matthews, and his stepmother Margaret Walker.

    Larry was always an easy going servant of the Lord when we attended church together. Confident he will meet  people in heaven who were impacted by his service!
