I remember Lee and Sallie from our college days at NC State University in Raleigh, NC. We both played in the symphonic band before forming a jazz/rock group. We even played in a rock band that traveled throughout NC when we were in school. We also played at many fraternities and later even played jazz at night clubs in the Raleigh area. Although we went our separate ways after graduation, we brought the old jazz group back in the late 1990s when Lee and Sallie would travel from Florida to meet up in Raleigh with other jazz talents from the time period to play at a club off greenwood Avenue North. I will miss Lee!
    Jim
