White, Leo Victor 80 of Oak Hill died Friday, December 6, 2013 with his wife and family by his side. Leo was born April 7, 1933 in Hampton, CT to late Marion and George White. Leo grew up in CT and served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany for two years. After his service time he married the love of his life, Eleanor Stevens on July 21, 1951. They settled in Oxford, MA to raise their five children. Leo worked for R.H. White Construction and operated heavy equipment for 45 years. He enjoyed fishing, boating, playing horseshoes, riding his Harley, singing and playing guitar for his family. Leo was a devoted husband and loved his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant great grandson. Leo is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Eleanor; his children, Laurie and son-in-law, Warren White, Patricia and son-in- law, Gerard Riquier, Sandra and son-in-law, Jeff Hopkins, Rickey and daughter-in-law, Dawn White and Judith Caron; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and eight siblings. A life celebration will be held 1:30PM, Monday, December 9, 2013 at Upper Church, 159 N. Gaines Street, Oak Hill. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to Halifax Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 4140 S Ridgewood Avenue, Edgewater, FL 32141.
