Rhonda, my thoughts and prayers are with you today. I know how much you and Leon looked forward to your fishing future. I remember the conversations we had and you often talked about those plans. I am grateful you have friends and family with you to support you. They will give you strength.

Leon and I met on the marina dock a few months prior to his death. Early morning, I helped him dock and then load his boat while I waited for my fishing partners. When they arrived, we ended up fishing with Leon for the day....immediately after getting acquainted.
Such a nice fellow, with a love for the water and his family. It is so disappointing to know Leon and I will not fish together anymore, but am so glad to have had the chance to spend a day with him.
We spoke of fishing and our wives and children and how we were both blessed to enjoy all 3. That's the kind of fishing partner that I enjoy the most. Loves what he has and knows how precious it is in his life.
