Obituary
Leonel Emmanuel Larmony (82), also known as Neville, of Longwood, FL, passed away on August 28, 2016. Born in Grand Case, St. Martin French West Indies, on July 1, 1934 to Lionel (Nell) and Jeannie (Ermannie) Gumbs Larmony.
Neville is survived by his daughters, Tracy Larmony of Ft. Myers, FL, Janine Larmony of Ft Myers, FL, Kelly (Wilfried) Larmony-Probst of Apopka, FL & Danielle (Neville) Larmony Cuthbert of Longwood, FL and grandchildren Casey Radvansky, Evan & Renee Cuthbert.
Neville is also survived by his brother, Charlie Larmony, his sister, Laura O’Shea, his Aunt Lina Mingo, and sister-in-law’s Karen Larmony, Kristine Larmony, Jean Moss and Joanne Kramer, 5 nieces, 3 nephews, 7 grandnieces & 6 grandnephews.
Also survived by- Cornelius & Lynnette deWeever and family; the Carty family – Francis, Marie-Louise, Nathalie (Chris) Carty Stiers, Natacha and Nicole; Michel and Kathy Deher and the rest of the Deher family; Mullet Bay family – Minder, Denise, Cheryl, Chad, and Christopher Rismay and Michael Ferrier.
Neville is also survived by Roy, Alouska, Lietsel and Maxime Richardson who held a special place in his heart.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elfreda, and daughter Renee. In addition to his wife & daughter, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dolph Larmony & Howard Larmony.
Neville left behind many family & friends, too many to mention, that loved him and will miss him.
A very special Thank You goes to Dr. A. Hanley, Wade Shrum, Dominique Martin, Phillip Konz, Marcia Bryan, Ms. Evandne Dukes and Joanna Smith.
Neville served in the U.S. Air Force as a radio operator on the B-29 while stationed in Guam and Japan. After his honorable discharge he returned to New York and worked at KLM before returning home to St.Maarten.
While living in St.Maarten he worked at Mullet Bay, Ground Services at Princess Juliana Airport, and worked on both the French and Dutch side ports.
