Obituary

Levi Shane Campbell

August 1, 1989 – April 30, 2022

Levi Shane Campbell, 32,  of St. James City, FL left this world behind on Saturday, April 30, 2022. He was born on August 1,1989 in Cape Coral, FL. He was preceded in death by his loving Mother Catherine Campbell, Grandfather Chester Campbell, Grandfather Thomas Price, Grandmother “Nanaw” Ginny Price and his Uncle Dean Price.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his precious children Adam John Campbell and Ivy Ann Campbell. The mother of his children Shannon Langford. His Father and Stepmother Dion and Pamela Campbell. His Brothers Dustin (Amanda) Campbell, Marshall Campbell, Travis Campbell and Sister Bella Campbell. His Grandmother “Mimi” Mary Campbell. And his Loving Partner Angie (Rae) Idelle. Also, his Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Cousins and many beloved friends.

Levi had two passions in life, his children and fishing. As far back as we can remember from sunup to sundown he always had a fishing pole in hand and along with his brothers and neighborhood friends, they were off to fish the canals and ponds nearby. Levi took his love for fishing and passed it on to his own children. Ivy, or as Levi liked to call her, “Pretty”, was Daddy’s Girl. They enjoyed their time at the beach and would spend time floating and enjoying the water. Adam loves his video games but would take time out with Dad. Levi enjoyed watching Adam for hours with his cast net. No doubt he instilled great values with his babies!

Levi graduated from North Fort Myers High school in 2007. He went on to learn the trade of being an installer for screen enclosures and pool cages. He was presently working for Ace Screen Repair & More LLC. A friend and co-worker described him best. he said Levi was trying to get him on the roof to show him there’s nothing to fear. Levi said,  “Don’t think about it, just count to 3 and go 1…2…3…!!!” That’s how he got him on the roof…”Bro, you just have to do it. Make it happen and get it done.” That’s how Levi lived his life! With a heart as big as those mitts he called hands. Fearless is how I’d describe him! He lived his life to the fullest and by his own rules.

Dion and family would like to extend their gratitude to Amanda Strickland (sister in-law) for stepping up in such a hard time to offerhersupport and pulling everything together! You are truly the backbone of this crew. Also, to Linda Price (Aunt) for always being there when he needed the extra support and for always finding the right words to say. Many thanks to every one of his family and friends.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Levi’s Life June 25, 2022.
