Obituary
Lidia Rohe, departed her loving family on March 24th, 2022.
Lidia was born in Deblin, Poland on May 30th 1942 to Jadwiga and Tadeusz Szponder.
Lidia was smart, determined, proud, forthright, and hard working. She loved to travel and explore our world, visiting dozens of countries across every continent. She loved to entertain and cook for others. Throughout her life she was not afraid to take on challenges, stand up for others, and share her views and opinions. She had a big heart for those she cared for and she always put her family and friends first.
Lidia earned a Master’s degree in Finance and Administration in her native home of Poland and worked as a Director of Administration prior to leaving in 1981. Upon her arrival in New York in 1982, with no English-speaking skills, she began working as a housekeeper and later as a beautician. Her former husband Jacek Zieba passed away in 1989. She married William Rohe in 1990 and retired to Florida in 2002. For William, she was the greatest woman there was.
She is survived by husband William, daughter Anita Graham, son-in-law Gary Graham, grandchildren Ryan and Lauren and sister Malgorzata Wianecka.
In accordance with her wishes, Lidia will be cremated, with a memorial service for both Bill and Lidia will be held on May 21, 2022 at 1pm EST, at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society TimberRidge Chapel 11250 SW 93rd Ct. Rd., Ste 300 Ocala, Florida, 34481.
