Obituary

Loneta Mae Girard, 92, of Ocala passed away August 11, 2016.  Born in Venango, NE, she came to this area 25 years ago from Miami, FL.  She was a retired administrative assistant for Baptist Hospital in Miami and enjoyed traveling.  She is survived by her daughters, Sue Girard of Ocala, FL and Sherri McMahan (Roy Kimmel) of Angleton, TX; grandchildren, David, Dawn, Denise and Danene; 4 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Edwin S. Girard and her brothers, Raymond, Ivan, Delbert and Al “K” Schneider.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremation 954 E. Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL 352-236-5884.

    What a beautiful lady, always ready with a smile and a good laugh. She and Pete just hit it off and we surely loved her. She was a blessing in our lives.

    Loneta always made me laugh. Even now I am smiling as I imagine her in the next life telling them just how things should be done. I am pleased and proud to call her my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
