Obituary
Loretta Mae Kohs, 85, of Winter Park, Florida passed away on Sunday, September 1, surrounded by family. Born in 1934 in Monroe County, Michigan, Loretta was the daughter of Leo F. Abramoski and Sophie Holler. Loretta was married for 66 years to her beloved husband, Richard F. Kohs, with whom she had four children. Lorrie was proud of her family, and she engaged so warmly and sincerely with people, you felt like she was a friend within just a few minutes of meeting her. Throughout her life, she found spirituality not just in the church, but all around her. She loved animals and nature. She enjoyed bowling, card games, and traveling near and far. Lorrie shined brightest when surrounded by family, music, and laughter, and her sense of humor was infectious. Her life, throughout all its joys and challenges, was meaningful in all respects.
Loretta is survived by her husband Richard; children Karen (Carolyn) Kohs, Rick (Alicia) Kohs, David (Margaret) Kohs, and Gregory (Stephanie) Kohs; seven grandchildren Joe, Kristen, Alex, Aga, Michael, Jack, and Madeline, and her great-grandchild Morgan. She was predeceased by her brother Leo B. Abramoski and her sister Lillian A. Monroe. Loretta’s memorial service will be conducted on Friday morning at 10 AM, September 27, lakefront at the Mennello Museum.
I am sorry for your loss.
Most sincerely,
Susan Hamilton

My mom will be dearly missed. She was always happy when near the water, and she loved the mountains of North Carolina, so here's a photo of her enjoying both at Lake Lure. Peace for you and your spirit, Mom.
LADY FILLED WITH GOD'S LOVE AND JOY.
