Obituary

Lorraine Shirron-Willey-Laporte born on  4/17/1933 to Norman and Helen Shirron passed away on 5/08/2022.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Florence Shirron, her first husband Clyde Willey, her second husband Donald (Danny) Laporte and her first son Robert Willey.

She is survived by her second son James Willey and his wife Cathy of Ocala Fl, Maureen Willey (Robert’s widow) of Salisbury, Massachusetts, her granddaughters Ashley Wolcott and Cortney Willey and her triplet grandsons Zachary, Ethan and Nicholas Willey all of Ocala Fl.  Six great grandchildren Zoey, Elijah, Bryson, Daniel, Emma and Grayson all of Ocala Fl.  Also, her longest and dearest friend Phyliss Gladu of Lakeland Fl and her closest long-time neighbors and friends Joan Williams and Shirley Bernard.

Lorraine spent the first half of her life in Tewksbury, Massachusetts and second half in Lakeland Florida.  Her passions included bowling, knitting, doll making, crochet, cross stitch, cards, and BINGO.  If you knew Lorraine you knew she LOVED elephants.  Her collection of elephant pictures, figurines, and such was huge.

Lorraine was a retired employee of TRW after many years of working for them.

Private arrangements are being entrusted to Baldwin Brothers of Ocala, Fl.  In lieu of flowers we ask any donations be made to Hospice.

A final Thank you goes out to Hospice (The Estelle’s House) for making Lorraine’s final days comfortable one’s for her.
