Obituary

Lorraine Marion Austin, 75, New Smyrna Beach FL died on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 peacefully at home. Lorrraine was born in Germantown, NY and came to this area in 1967 from Stottville, NY. She worked at Stedman’s Laundry for 36 years. She also was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory children Roger Austin of Edgewater and Donna Austin of New Smyrna Beach, sisters Joan Lyons of Livingston, NY, Gloria Millus of Tivoli, NY, brother Roger Rifenburgh of Germantown, NY and many nieces and nephews.     Donations are requested in her memory to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospitals 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

    Donna & Roger, I am very sorry for the loss of your Mom. I know it's been a long time since we have seen each other, probably 20 years, but I have so many fond memories of hanging out with you your Mom. She was always such a pleasure to be around, she had a great sense of humor. I know you meant the world to her. You and your family remain in my heart.
