Obituary
Louis William (Bill) Akos was born February 8, 1933 in Springfield, Ohio the 3rd of 5 children to Louis and Mary Akos. Dad was called home July 23rd and leaves behind is loving wife of 60 years, Gini. He also leaves 3 sons; Joe (Debbie), Bill (Denise), Tom (Karen), and 1 daughter Joy ( Duane), 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dad was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War as a Military Policeman. After being honorably discharged he continued to serve for 14 years as a Policeman in Euclid, Ohio. In the late 1960s he and Mom visited Florida and soon after pulled up stakes, bought a new station wagon and moved to Florida with nothing more than the knowledge that Dad would always provide for his family. He worked security at Walt Disney World and the Altamonte Springs mall and various other jobs before opening a plumbing supply business selling it and retiring in 1995. In 1998 he suffered a debilitating stroke that affected his entire left side. Through the ensuing years he continued on the best he could but the stroke finally wore him out. There will be a mass at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church on Thursday August 6. Please understand that due to the current pandemic, this mass is for the immediate family only.
